As a Support Worker specializing in Mental Health, Disability, and Learning Disabilities, you will provide vital care, emotional support, and practical assistance to individuals, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support for individuals with mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and learning disabilities.
- Assist with mobility support, transfers, and moving & handling in a safe and respectful manner.
- Encourage independence and support with everyday activities such as shopping, cooking, and household chores.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities to enhance emotional and social well-being.
- Support with medication management, ensuring medications are taken as prescribed and documenting any changes.
- Help individuals build skills and engage in programs that support their mental health, development, and well-being.
- Monitor clients’ progress, health, and behavior, reporting any changes to senior staff.
- Promote inclusion and equality by supporting individuals in accessing community resources and social opportunities.
- Ensure a clean, safe environment by adhering to health, safety, and infection control standards.
Shift Patterns Available:
- Day Shifts: Flexible working hours
- Night Shifts: 24/7 support roles available
- Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Enhanced pay available

Key Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Previous experience in support work or care for mental health, disabilities, or learning disabilities preferred but not essential

- Strong communication skills β able to engage and support individuals effectively
- Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- DBS/PVG check and references required
